Welcome to Red Sky at Night Campsite!
Welcome to Red Sky at Night Campsite — our little corner of the family farm here in the rolling hills of Monmouthshire.

We’re a family of five with three young boys, and we created the campsite to share the peace, space, and incredible views we’re lucky enough to enjoy every day. Life here is simple: sunsets that set the whole sky on fire, fields full of birdsong, and nights where the stars shine brighter than you ever imagined.

Our award-winning pop-up campsite is small, off-grid, and intentionally simple, with fewer than 20 spacious pitches mown into long grass and wildflowers. You can park right beside your tent or camper and enjoy your own little patch of countryside, with plenty of room to breathe, relax, and unwind.

We keep things rustic, sustainable, and close to nature. There’s no electricity on site — just fresh air, clear skies, and the crackle of a campfire. Facilities include two compost loos and a covered cold-water wash shed for dishes. Fire bowls are available to hire, and wood can be purchased on site for cosy evenings beneath the stars.

For children, there’s plenty of freedom and adventure. They can wander into the woodland to spot teddy bears hidden amongst the trees, play in Café Mud, build dens, climb, and explore. There’s no need for screens here — just muddy boots, imagination, and space to make memories. Dogs are welcome too (on leads, please!).

By night, you’ll find yourself beneath one of the UK’s official Dark Sky Reserves, with breathtaking views of the Milky Way and constellations glittering overhead. By day, we’re perfectly placed along the historic 19-mile Three Castles Walk, with nearby Monmouth, Abergavenny, and the beautiful Forest of Dean all within easy reach.

We’re always adding little touches to make the campsite even more special. Throughout the season, we’ll gradually be introducing new features including a handmade double sink washing-up area built from timber from our own woodland, a brand new Missing Camper Trail, woodland activities for children, and an expanded honesty-style offering featuring some of our own homegrown and handmade products, including herbal teas, meat rubs, and candles.

We’re a small, family-run campsite built with a big love for the land we live on, and we can’t wait to share it with you.
