Welcome to Red Sky at Night Campsite!
Tucked away in the rolling hills of Monmouthshire, our award-winning pop-up campsite offers a back-to-nature escape where peace, space, and starlight take centre stage.
With fewer than 20 large, mown pitches set amongst long grass and wildflowers, every guest has room to breathe, unwind, and soak up the incredible views.
We keep things simple, sustainable, and close to nature. There’s no electricity on site – just clear skies, fresh air, and the crackle of a campfire.
Facilities include compost loos, a covered wash shed for dishwashing, and an honesty-style approach to firewood, grills, and our popular campfire meal kits.

Children can explore the woodland, build dens, and follow our teddy bear trail, while grown-ups can relax knowing the whole family is welcome here – including dogs (on leads).
By night, you’ll find yourself under one of the UK’s official Dark Sky Reserves, with breathtaking views of the Milky Way and constellations glittering overhead. By day, you’re perfectly placed to walk the historic Three Castles route, visit Monmouth and Abergavenny, or venture into the Forest of Dean.

We’re a small, family-run site with a big love for the land we live on – and we can’t wait to share it with you.
