Welcome to Red Sky at Night Campsite, our little corner of the family farm here in Monmouthshire. We’re a family of five with three young boys, and we created the campsite to share the peace, space, and views we’re lucky enough to enjoy every day. Life here is simple – sunsets that set the whole sky on fire, fields full of birdsong, and nights where the stars shine brighter than you ever imagined. Our campsite is small and off-grid, with fewer than 20 spacious pitches mown into the meadow. You can park up right beside your tent or camper and feel like you’ve got your own patch of countryside. Facilities are rustic and eco-friendly: two compost loos, a cold-water wash shed for dishes, and fire bowls and grills to hire. We also offer firewood, local meat packs, and our much-loved campfire meal kits – from build-your-own pizzas and nachos to bannock “fire bread” and s’mores. For children, there’s plenty of freedom and adventure. They can follow our teddy bear trail, play in the mud café, or head into the woods to build dens and climb. There’s no need for screens here – just space to roam, play, and make memories. We’re set right on the 19-mile Three Castles Walk, with Monmouth, Abergavenny, and the Forest of Dean all close by. Whether you’re here to hike, explore, or simply relax, the farm makes a perfect base. We’re not a big holiday park – just a family-run campsite where you can slow down, reconnect with nature, and enjoy the simple things. We can’t wait to welcome you.
